We’re working with an established and growing North London financial planning firm recognised for delivering genuinely bespoke financial planning and investment solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative, forward-thinking team where your contribution will have real impact.
The OpportunityYou will work closely with an experienced Financial Adviser and an Administrator, supporting the delivery of holistic financial planning to a loyal and expanding client base.
This hybrid position offers the ideal blend of flexibility, development, and exposure to a diverse range of client scenarios.
Key Responsibilities Advice Support & Report Writing- Prepare detailed, compliant suitability reports across:
- Pensions & retirement planning
- Investments
- Protection
- Equity release
- Conduct research and analyse financial products, assessing suitability based on client objectives.
- Manage tasks and workflows on X-Plan
, fully understanding relevant processes including: - Advice process (including requirements for high-risk and pre-approval business)
- Fund switches
- Withdrawals
- Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure compliance standards are met.
- Stay up to date with regulatory and legislative changes and apply these appropriately.
- Liaise with providers and clients to gather key information, valuations, and documentation.
- Prepare review packs, data sets, and supporting materials for client meetings.
- Assist with onboarding, application processing, and general case management.
- Hold regular meetings with the Adviser to:
- Manage new business cases
- Monitor pipeline and performance (at adviser’s discretion)
You’ll work with a wide suite of tools including:
Genovo, Selecta Pension, Dynamic Planner, X-Plan, Voyant, FE-Analytics, Defaqto Engage, and Underwrite Me.
What We’re Looking For- Level 4 Diploma qualified (or actively working toward it)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Paraplanner or Senior IFA Administrator
- Strong written communication and exceptional attention to detail
- Confident using financial planning and CRM software
- A proactive, solutions-focused, team-oriented mindset
