The Commercial Finance Business Partner OpportunityA high-growth, digitally driven business is hiring a Commercial Finance Business Partner to join its FP&A function. This role sits at the centre of commercial decision-making, supporting senior stakeholders with insight across revenue performance, margin optimisation and long-term growth initiatives.
You’ll work closely with leadership teams to turn data into actionable insight, influencing strategy while helping shape future investment and planning decisions.
In this role, you will be at the heart of financial modelling, and a great opportunity to gain exposure to senior leadership teams while having a real business impact.
What You’ll Be Doing in the Commercial Finance Business Partner Role- Acting as a trusted finance partner to senior commercial leaders, providing clear insight to support day‑to‑day and strategic decisions
- Analysing revenue and gross margin performance to identify risks, opportunities and growth levers
- Owning elements of the budgeting, forecasting and multi-year planning process
- Producing monthly management information with meaningful variance analysis and narrative for leadership
- Building and maintaining robust financial models to support new initiatives, pricing decisions and investment cases
- Carrying out deep‑drive analysis on performance trends and operational drivers
- Defining, tracking and improving KPIs in collaboration with non‑finance teams
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Experience in a commercial finance or FP&A role
- Strong commercial judgement, communicated clearly to non‑finance stakeholders
- Advanced Excel and solid financial modelling skills
- Comfortable working at a pace, both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- A naturally inquisitive mindset with strong attention to detail
- Confidence influencing decisions through data, not just reporting it
