An established infrastructure business is looking for a sharp, proactive Project Accountant to take ownership of financial control and reporting across a portfolio of major capital projects. If you enjoy being close to the assets, the numbers, and the operational teams driving delivery, this role sits right at that intersection.

• Owning financial management for multiple infrastructure projects
• Tracking capex, commitments, forecasts and cost‑to‑complete
• Producing monthly project reporting with clear variance analysis
• Partnering with project managers, engineers and commercial teams
• Strengthening financial controls around procurement and contracts
• Supporting investment cases, business plans and scenario modelling
• Improving project reporting processes and systems

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Experience in infrastructure, construction, energy, utilities or other capex‑heavy sectors
• Strong understanding of project accounting, WIP, cost control and capex governance
• Confident working with operational teams and challenging assumptions
• Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insight
