Position: Tax Expert Hybrid / HMRC / Capital Gains
My client, a London-based investment management firm, provides portfolio management and wealth advisory services to private clients, family offices, businesses, and charities. They combine machine learning with human insight to deliver a highly personalised service. They are seeking a Tax Expert to lead client tax reporting, ensure compliance, and support operational processes. This is a technical, specialist role working closely with investment teams, clients, and third-party providers.

Key Responsibilities:

Review client capital gains and income tax reports, identifying and resolving issues. Liaise with custodians and third parties to ensure correct tax treatment of securities. Implement and enhance systems for tax reporting and client data management. Respond to client tax queries and support internal teams. Assist clients’ accountants with tax submissions and manage W-8

BEN and BE-1 forms in coordination .

Skills & Experience:

Expert knowledge of HMRC rules on capital gains and income tax. Strong analytical and numerical skills, advanced Excel capability. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Nexus or CGiX is a plus.
