Our client is a leading global hedge fund with a growing discretionary trading business. They are looking to hire an experienced credit execution trader to be based in London or Dubai.
- Collaborate with quants to improve and set up new strategies and improve existing ones
- Execute trades for various strategies, manually and algorithmically, to maximise volumes within the detailed constraints
- Monitor and analyse trading cost, execution quality, and liquidity for executed flow
- Maintain relationships with brokers and execution vendors, and identify new relationships for improving liquidity
- Liaise with research, senior PM and management to ensure efficient risk communication
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or related field
- 2-5 years’ experience as an execution trader (Buy-side experience is preferred)
- Strong broker-facing relationships for our global Credit team to leverage
- Experience with Credit execution platforms and Microsoft Excel
- Fluent in English (Spoken and Written)
- Experience with Statistical programming or Scripting languages
- Experience in Government bond trading (as a hedge, or outright)
