Our client is a well-established PE fund based in London. Due to internal progression they are now seeking a driven and ambitious newly-qualified accountant to join their finance team.
DescriptionOur client is a well-established private equity fund based in central London. Due to natural progression within the finance team, they are now looking to hire a recently-qualified accountant from a top-tier accounting firm to join their LLP finance team. You would have close interaction with the COO/ CFO and cover financial accounting responsibilities, including the preparation of the annual financial statements and regular reporting, supervision of the outsourced management accounting function, liaising with external auditors and tax advisors, supporting the FP&A function on regular budgeting and forecasting process, and other ad hoc tasks across the corporate entity, tax, and (potentially) fund accounting functions.
RequirementsThe successful candidate will have an excellent academic background, be a recently-qualified accountant (ACA/ CA or equivalent), and have been trained in a top-tier accounting firm. You will need excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills and proficiency with MS Excel. Experience of private equity audit is preferred, but is not an absolute prerequisite. The capacity to work four days per week in central London is required.
