Tax Manager Hybrid ERS​/PAYE​/IR35

Circa £55,000 - £75,000 (Dependent on Experience) + Excellent Benefits

Public Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a leading UK advisory and accountancy group who are looking to recruit an Employment Tax Manager to join their fast-growing specialist Employment Tax team in London. This firm supports the SME market with a full service offering including Audit, Accounts & Advisory, Tax, Payroll, Corporate Finance and Business Recovery

• Managing employment tax compliance services including PAYE health checks, P11
  
  Ds and PAYE Settlement Agreements
• Overseeing compliance aspects of CIS where relevant
• Managing employment related securities compliance processes
• Drafting advisory emails/reports on key employment tax matters including ERS, employment status, IR35, termination payments and benefits structuring
• Supporting senior stakeholders with strategic advice, identifying risks and opportunities for clients
• Keeping up-to-date with UK employment tax legislation and HMRC guidance and sharing insights internally and externally
• Supporting client meetings, presentations and training sessions
• Contributing to business development including proposals, networking and identifying opportunities in the existing client base
• Coaching and supporting junior staff, ensuring high standards and timely delivery

• Strong employment tax experience gained in UK practice
• ERS knowledge is beneficial
• ATT qualified (or equivalent)
• Experience dealing with HMRC enquiries and correspondence
• Strong Excel skills with ability to analyse/manipulate data
• Payroll processing exposure is advantageous but not essential
• Organised, proactive and able to take ownership of tasks through to completion
