Working on behalf of a Local Authority, Aatom Recruitment has a new opportunity for a Technical/Financial Accountant – Statutory Accounts, Pension on a 6 months contract with a possibility of further extension.

Main purpose of the role:

To support the Pensions, Treasury and Statutory Accounts team with preparation for year end closing 2024/25 including interim audit and production of the Statement of Accounts. The role will report to Chief Accountant (Statutory Accounts) and Pensions Finance Manager (Pensions). The role is a six month assignment minimum.

The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified accountant with experience of working in financial reporting and year end closing within local government.
