Finance & Banking Associate, Corporate Finance

Position Overview

The Associate will work with senior members of the Firm to identify, diligence and present investment opportunities, collaborate with portfolio management teams and be actively involved in board meetings of portfolio companies to guide strategy and monitor performance. This role will work with both external and internal resources to develop investment theses and select opportunities for investment, as well as lead or participate in all aspects of investment diligence, including but not limited to: financial analysis and modelling, commercial diligence, product & technology diligence, legal diligence, deal structuring and negotiations.

The Associate will be uniquely positioned to partner with management teams of existing portfolio companies to lead & execute potential add-on M&A deals. • Take a lead role in investment analysis including market assessment, competitive positioning, value creation potential, etc.
• Lead / participate in key diligence streams such as commercial, financial, etc.
• Build financial models and update them to reflect diligence findings & PSG operating plans / theses.
• Create IC memos and participate in deal teams’ IC presentations.
• Demonstrate & continuously develop business judgement.
• Communicate in clear and concise manner with data-driven insights.
• Build and maintain relationships with portfolio companies’ management teams and advisors.
• Must be fluent in English along with one or more of the following languages:
  German, French, Dutch, Spanish, Swedish, Danish, Finnish
