Accounts Assistant - Legal Sector
Central London
Salary up to £35,000 + Hybrid Working (2-3 days from home)
CV Screen is recruiting for an Accounts Assistant, ideally with previous experience working within the legal sector, to join a fantastic legal firm based in Central London. You will be joining a friendly, rapidly growing business who are committed to providing exceptional service to their clients.
DUTIES INCLUDE:- Process client and office payments per SRA rules
- Allocate funds and monitor client balances
- Prepare and issue client bills
- Record disbursements and recoverable expenses
- Handle credit notes and cost transfers
- Ensure VAT and regulatory compliance
- Support Credit Control with overdue invoices
- Maintain ledgers
- Knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules and legal accounting practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Previous experience in a law firm or professional services environment is desirable.
- Salary up to £35,000 depending on experience.
- Hybrid working - 3 days from home
