SPF Property Loans Administrator - CER Financial
Location: City of London.
Job Type: Office based, Permanent.
Salary: £50,000 per year.
The role involves working with a warm and exciting international bank as a Property Loans Administrator, overseeing development finance/bridging loans and conducting end-to-end loan administration.
Responsibilities- Operate within the bank’s controls and risk management procedures.
- Liaise with the bank’s Operations, Treasury, Credit Department and Compliance teams.
- Create and maintain client loan account records.
- Monitor limit and expiry reports.
- Obtain client references where required.
- Instruct the bank’s professionals (solicitors, surveyors and quantity surveyors) and ensure that all reports received are satisfactory. Liaise with SPF managers and the bank’s Credit Department to discuss contents and suitability of reports.
- Check and release payments for initial drawdowns and subsequent interim certificates from quantity surveyors.
- Monitor all loan and professional panel insurance requirements and maintain a diary system to ensure renewal of policies.
- Ensure fees and charges are taken in line with loan agreements.
- Deal with the opening and closing of client accounts, liaising with the bank’s Operations Department.
- Conduct Customer Due Diligence reviews.
- Handle partial and full loan redemptions in conjunction with the bank’s solicitors.
- Manage loan extensions in conjunction with SPF managers.
- Assist with the production of management information.
- Undertake and participate in any projects being undertaken by SPF.
- Experience in development finance / bridging and conducting end-to-end loan administration.
- Not less than 5 years of general banking experience, including at least 2 years in a property lending environment.
