Partnerships Tax Assistant Manager

Salary: £58,000 - £70,000 + bonus + benefits

About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of the largest and most established Partnerships Tax teams in London. You'll work with a diverse and high-profile client base including professional partnerships (law firms, consultancies, recruiters, architects and property services firms), financial services businesses, private equity firms, and their Partners and Senior Executives.

This role offers excellent exposure to complex and interesting work across UK and international tax, within a highly supportive and collaborative environment. You'll be part of a team recognised as market-leading experts in partnership taxation, with strong investment in your technical and professional development.

Key responsibilities
  • Acting as a key point of contact for a portfolio of partnership and LLP clients.
  • Managing the delivery of tax compliance and advisory services, supported by senior colleagues.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, anticipating client needs and responding proactively.
  • Working on a varied portfolio across professional partnerships, private equity and investment fund management structures.
  • Advising on a broad range of partnership and partner-level tax issues, with support from Partners and Directors.
  • Managing billing, risk and quality processes for your client portfolio.
  • Coaching, mentoring and developing junior members of the team.
  • Building strong internal networks to support your long-term career development.
About you
  • ACA and/or CTA qualified (or equivalent).
  • Experience in a mixed tax role covering partnership and/or corporate tax compliance and advisory.
  • Ideally some exposure to professional partnerships and/or private equity funds and management structures.
  • Comfortable managing a client portfolio and building client relationships.
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Keen to learn, develop and build long-term expertise within the partnerships and private equity space.
