Citi is looking for summer analysts to join the Capital Strategy & Structuring (CSS) team, part of the broader Financial Strategy Group (FSG), a corporate finance advisory team in Citi’s investment banking division. The CSS team originates, structures and executes hybrid capital and other structured fixed income transactions for banks, insurers and corporates, working in close partnership with Debt Capital Markets.
It also advises issuers globally on capital structure and the debt market consequences of broader regulatory developments, such as bank resolution, bail‑in, and the implementation of Basel 4.
The broader Financial Strategy Group advises clients in M&A and capital markets transactions on the full spectrum of corporate finance issues; focusing on capital structure, credit ratings, funding strategy, valuation, cost of capital, shareholder returns and distributions, capital allocation, and liquidity management. The group also regularly produces theme pieces on current topics with significant implications for clients (e.g., inflation, recession, interest rates).
