We are seeking a highly skilled Relationship Manager to develop and grow our Private Banking business in the UK, targeting Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) and High Net Worth (HNW) clients with a strong Asian nexus.
In This Role You Will- Work alongside and support Global Relationship Managers based in Asia to provide private banking services to Asian resident clients with UK related needs.
- Originate new business with UK resident clients originally from specific Asian markets through investment Assets Under Management (AUM), lending and advisory services.
- Collaborate with Investment Specialists, Wealth Planners and Credit Specialists to deliver outstanding service and product solutions and grow HSBC’s share of client wallet.
- Have regular contact and meetings with clients, providing support to client’s portfolio management and ensuring clients understand and are aware of their risk level.
- Deliver fair outcomes for our clients and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets.
- Proven success in portfolio management and new acquisition of Asian Private Banking clients - essential
- Demonstrable track record of building successful relationships with internal and external referral networks - essential
- Charted Institute for Securities & Investments (CISI) Level 4 qualification - essential
- Deep understanding of financial markets, complex wealth management solutions including lending solutions, and the regulatory environment in the UK.
- Fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese - essential
