Finance Director

A rapidly expanding organisation in the financial services sector is looking for an experienced and commercially astute Finance Director to join its senior leadership team. With ambitious growth plans and a strong presence in the market, the business is entering an exciting new phase of strategic development.

The Finance Director will play a critical role in shaping financial strategy, driving operational performance, and ensuring robust financial governance across the group. This is a high-impact position suited to a finance leader with a strong understanding of regulated environments and a hands‑on, commercially minded approach.

• Lead the finance function across financial control, planning, analysis, and reporting

• Partner with the CEO and Board to drive strategic planning and commercial decision‑making

• Oversee statutory reporting, regulatory compliance, and internal controls

• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow across the group

• Provide insight into financial performance, risk, and opportunities

• Lead and develop a growing finance team, ensuring high standards and scalable processes

• Support capital planning, funding strategy, and investor reporting

• Liaise with external auditors, regulators, and financial partners

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with significant post‑qualified experience

• Strong technical grounding in financial reporting, compliance, and control

• Previous experience in a senior finance role within financial services is essential

• Proven ability to influence at board level and contribute to strategic growth

• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

• Comfortable in a dynamic, fast‑paced, and regulated environment
