Title: Treasury Manager (Operations)
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time, 35 hours
Salary: £70,555 per annum (London weighted salary) dependent on experience
Grade: 11
Reporting Office: London, Stratford
Persona: Agile Worker: 20% – 40% of contractual hours to be worked from reporting office/working location (hybrid working)

Interview Dates: 1st stage interviews w/c 2nd February; 2nd interviews w/c 9th and 23rd February for those successful at first stage.

Our ability to invest in affordable homes depends on robust Treasury operations. This role will help us to maintain liquidity, optimise cashflow, and implement innovative systems to support our long‑term financial sustainability and the reliable, repeatable services that our residents deserve.
Where you fit inYou will report to the Head of Treasury (Operations), manage the Treasury Accountant and work in a matrix reporting structure across Treasury. You will also work closely with colleagues across Finance and the wider business to deliver our strategic objectives.
Impact- Lead and manage day‑to‑day Treasury operations, ensuring compliance with Treasury Management Policy.
- Oversee cashflow forecasting and optimise returns on cash.
- Ensure all capital and interest payments are made on time.
- Project manage system and service improvements to strengthen controls and efficiency.
- Lead month‑end processes and Treasury elements of audits.
- Maintain a robust Treasury operations control framework and ensure audit‑ready records and systems.
- Internal:
Finance and wider leadership, governance forums. - External:
Lenders, auditors, professional advisors.
- Professional qualification: AMCT or ACCA (or equivalent).
- Hands‑on experience leading Treasury operations within a busy Treasury or Finance team.
- Strong people management skills, including performance management, coaching, and training.
- Proven ability to drive improvements in service delivery and commercial performance.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with confidence in presenting to different audiences.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high‑quality work to tight deadlines.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency in Treasury and Finance systems.
- Experience in the housing association sector.
- Experience of delivering new Treasury & Finance systems.
- Experience of matrix working.
- Familiarity with Salmon, Unit4, and Assetcore systems.
