Share Schemes Tax Assistant Manager

Are you an experienced tax professional looking for your next step? This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team in a leading accountancy and advisory firm. The role can be based in either London or the North West.

You’ll play a key role in advising clients on the implementation of share schemes, including tax-favoured and non-tax-favoured plans. Your work will involve supporting transactions, managing compliance obligations, and preparing annual share scheme returns. You’ll liaise with clients and colleagues across the UK and internationally, delivering expert advice and spotting opportunities for further advisory work.

• Advise on tax and practical issues around share schemes
• Support due diligence and transactional work
• Assist with valuations and HMRC compliance
• Prepare and submit annual share scheme returns
• Lead client meetings and manage relationships
• Mentor junior team members and review their work

• CTA / ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent experience)
• Strong knowledge of share schemes and Employment Related Securities legislation
• Experience with compliance and HMRC submissions
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Commercial awareness and ability to work under pressure
