As a Ring Dealer on the LME, our specialist metals team provides 24‑hour global market access across base, ferrous, and precious metals including exchange‑traded derivatives, off‑exchange precious metal products, non‑USD precious metal pricing, and market‑making services. Our long history in the sector means we can provide unrivalled historical data as well as a wide range of daily, weekly and end‑of‑day reports, with the speed that clients value.

We are looking for an ambitious, proactive individual, responsible for a portfolio of Base / Precious metals and broad commodities products. This is a junior level position with the opportunity to work autonomously, and also as part of a team and directly engage with clients. We’re looking for the commercial ability to maintain good relationships with clients and in time the ability to find new ones to bring flow.

• Dealing in commodity products, in particular Base, precious and ferrous metals products
• Directly corresponding with clients including banks, hedge funds, market makers, fund managers, institutional investors, trading houses and other boutiques
• Assisting with onboarding of new client relationships and maintaining existing ones, supporting processes as required by colleagues, and engaging and updating clients
• Working efficiently and supporting with making efficiencies, e.g. assisting in the preparation of any new required frameworks
• Collaboration with central operations functions which support the trading role including but not limited to Operations and Technology
• Strategising to increase P&L, requiring analysis of markets and products
• Ensuring compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements under the FCA, NFA and any other relevant governing body
• Adhering to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring all regulatory or company‑determined parameters are complied with
• Demonstrating highest level standards of integrity and conduct and reflecting Company Values
• Complying with the FCA’s and international regulators Code of Conduct
• Carrying out regulatory activities under the Marex Financial and MSIL trading books
• Liaising with clients locally as well as Asia and other regions
• Ensuring awareness of and adherence to internal policies that relate to your role or other activities for which you have any level of responsibility
• Reporting any breaches of policy to Compliance and/or your supervisor as required
• Escalating risk events immediately
• Providing input to risk management processes, as required

• Basic understanding of Commodities / Derivatives markets
• Experience in a client‑facing role is desirable
• Comprehensive knowledge of the financial services markets and relevant regulatory requirements
