AboutThe Role
Sitting in the Bank's Treasury function, the primary responsibility of the Capital Markets Analyst will be to support the management of the bank’s capital markets funding programmes, and to lead the ongoing post securitisation issuance reporting. This includes the establishment and ongoing management of a Securitisation programme, maintenance of HTBs unsecured debt capital markets programmes (including T2 and AT1 capital) as well as HTB’s relationship with the Bank of England Sterling Monetary Framework and all funding managed under the framework.
This will require close co-operation with key functions across the bank to support work streams for accounting, reporting, data and operational capability. The Capital Markets Analyst will also support internal/external relationship management. The Capital Markets Analyst will support HTB’s TFSME drawings, collateral maintenance and reporting and all Bank of England SMF schemes including ILTR and DWF.
The working pattern of this role is hybrid, with an expectation to be in the London office a minimum of 50% of the time.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting the securitisation programme, working with a number of stakeholders across the bank, to establish HTB’s securitisation capability and further future issuances.
- Lead the management of the securitisation post-issuance reporting, regulatory reporting (in conjunction with Regulatory Reporting internal teams), collateral management and supporting ongoing external stakeholder management.
- Support the management of external securitisation counter parties (arranging banks, lawyers, trustees, rating agencies, investors, corporate services providers).
- Support the management of existing unsecured capital issuances (AT1 and T2) including the refinancing, where relevant, of these issuances.
- Lead the management of HTBs central bank funding and liquidity programmes (TFSME, ILTR, DwF) including management of collateral pools and related Bank of England reporting.
- An experienced Securitisation / Structured Finance professional within a bank or non-bank lender.
- Knowledge of RMBS products and post issuance reporting.
- Relevant professional qualifications desired.
- Highly numerate and analytical with capacity to reach logical, well balanced, actionable conclusions.
- Articulate, engaging, persuasive, open minded and a team player.
- Attention to detail.
- Confident and self-motivated.
- Clear communicator.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
