Job Description

You will join a fast-growing compliance consulting team, where you will independently manage key client relationships and deliver high-quality regulatory and compliance solutions across the financial services sector. This is a client-facing role offering exposure to complex regulatory projects, the opportunity to lead engagements, and the chance to mentor junior colleagues while contributing to the continued growth of the business.

What you'll do
  • You will independently manage and develop a portfolio of regulated clients, acting as their primary point of contact and delivering market-leading compliance support
  • You will lead and deliver client project work including ongoing compliance support, regulatory change initiatives, client secondments, and FCA mock visits or health check reviews

    Promote and support sales incentives that contribute to business growth
  • You will design, implement, and oversee compliance monitoring programmes, including conducting on-site reviews, drafting working papers, and producing clear and actionable reports
  • You will draft, review, and maintain policies, procedures, manuals, and other compliance documentation to reinforce regulatory requirements and best practice
  • You will provide timely, practical, and commercially focused regulatory advice, keeping clients informed of regulatory developments and their impact on business operations
  • You will build strong, trusted client relationships, address client feedback proactively, and identify opportunities to support clients across a broader range of compliance services
  • You will oversee, support, and provide feedback to junior team members, contributing to technical knowledge development and the wider compliance infrastructure

Qualifications
  • You have at least 4 years of relevant financial services experience, ideally within compliance consulting, a regulated firm, or a regulatory environment
  • You have a strong practical understanding of FCA regulations, including AIFMs, MiFIDPRU investment firms, and the FCA Handbook
  • You have experience delivering compliance solutions across asset management, investment banking, brokerage, or related financial services sectors
  • You have the ability to identify regulatory risks, implement practical solutions, and recognise opportunities to support clients across your portfolio and the wider client base
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels
  • You are degree educated or possess equivalent industry qualifications and experience in Accounting, Law, Finance, or Compliance
  • You have strong technical skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to produce high-quality client documentation and reports
