Fixed Term Contract Operations Analyst - OTC/FX Rates MO

Base pay range: £65,000 to £80,000 (GBP) fixed base salary + benefits + discretionary bonus (pro rata over 6 months)

  • Location - London
  • Working Model – In Office (4:1 Days Model) 4 Days in the Office and 1 Day WFH
  • Right to Work – Full UK Right to Work – no restrictions up to June 2026. Applicants must have approved PSV – Post Study Visa valid till June 2026.
Overview

Multi‑asset hedge fund in London looking to hire a Fixed Term Contract Operations Analyst to support OTC and FX Middle Office Trading Operations until May 2026. The fund is undergoing a major migration and requires experienced OTC/FX operations support, including trade settlements, affirmation, enrichment, and life‑cycle management.

Responsibilities
  • Support OTC derivatives, FX options and fixed‑income trade processing, affirmation and settlement.
  • Manage trade‑life‑cycle events: trade capture, enrichment, reconciliation and settlement across multiple asset classes.
  • Operate and maintain middle‑office systems, advanced Excel and Python tools to improve accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Lead process‑improvement projects to drive cost savings, efficiencies and accuracy.
Qualifications
  • 3‑8 years experience in trading operations covering trade‑life‑cycle management.
  • Direct life‑cycle event processing experience in a hedge fund, investment bank or high‑frequency trading firm.
  • Strong knowledge of OTC derivatives (rates, FX, credit), fixed income and equities.
  • Advanced Excel VBA (macros) and Python programming skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and continuous‑improvement mindset.
Compensation

£65,000 to £80,000 base salary + benefits (Fixed Term Contract)
