OVERVIEW

FINANCE MANAGER – ENFIELD (OFFICE BASED)

Up to £60,000 base + bonus + healthcare + benefits

We're exclusively partnering with a highly successful industrial‑focused business in Enfield that is modernising its finance function.

• Lead day‑to‑day management of the finance department and develop a team of three.
• Bring the Management Accounts function in‑house, implement the month‑end process, and prepare monthly management accounts.
• Deliver insightful MI analysis and provide Finance Business Partner support to key operational departments.
• Own cash‑flow management, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Oversee weekly and monthly payroll.
• Drive the migration to upgrade the accounting system, modernising and streamlining finance processes.
• Partner with operational and commercial leads to provide financial insight, challenge, and support decision‑making.
• Manage Year‑End, external audit, and statutory submissions in collaboration with the external practice.
• Review and refine the company’s bonus scheme and reward model.
• Process VAT returns.
• Support the Group Finance Director with ad‑hoc analysis, projects, and reporting.

• Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA with experience in manufacturing, engineering, logistics, construction, retail, or wholesale.
• Experience in an SME preferred.
• Proven track‑record leading a small finance team.
• Strong experience producing management accounts.
• Experience managing systems migration or implementation.
• Excellent business‑partnering and communication skills to influence non‑finance stakeholders.
