Our rates desk is expanding, and we’re looking for an experienced Inflation & Rates Trader to help lead the charge. This isn't just about execution; it’s about active risk-taking and uncovering relative-value opportunities across EUR, UK, and US markets.
** About the job:
** We operate at the intersection of deep market intuition and rigorous data. You will have the autonomy to manage significant risk, deploy sophisticated trade constructions, and leverage your quantitative expertise to evolve our pricing and risk management frameworks. If you are a high-performer who thrives in a fast-paced front-office environment, we want to hear from you.
** PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND
*** Strong academic background in quantitative finance, mathematics, physics, engineering, or economics.
* Significant experience trading rates and inflation products at a bank, HF or AM
* Proven ability to run risk and P&L within defined limits.
* Experience with cross-asset trading (energy, FX, macro rates environment).
** TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE
*** Strong quantitative and analytical skills applied to discretionary trading decisions.
* Programming skills in Python, VBA, or similar for pricing, analytics, and scenario and algorithms tools.
* Spanish will be a nice-to-have.
** SOFT SKILLS
*** Attention to detail.
* Analytical skills.
* Resilience.
* Good communication skills.
* Market-making skills.
