  • Design and deliver compliance training programs on crypto-specific and traditional financial services risks.
  • Maintain and update risk registers covering regulatory, operational, financial crime, and cyber risks.
  • Develop policies and procedures for AML/CTF, conflicts of interest, market abuse surveillance, data protection (GDPR), and MiCA requirements.
  • Manage vendor/counter party due diligence (RFPs, DDQs) and respond to client due diligence requests.
  • Provide real‑time guidance on product launches, client onboarding, and marketing campaigns.
  • Support upcoming licensing application (potential MiCA authorization, FCA permissions expansion, or VASP registration).
  • Prepare authorization documentation including compliance manuals, systems and controls frameworks.
Ideal Candidate
  • Regulatory lawyer or European lawyer with strong financial regulatory knowledge.
  • 5‑8+ years in financial services compliance, with 2‑3+ years in digital assets/crypto.
  • Experience at regulated entities (asset manager, broker, exchange, or crypto platform).
  • Deep knowledge of UK FCA and EU regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven experience with financial promotions approval in the crypto space.
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with senior leadership.
