The successful candidate will manage a mixed portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients, ensuring compliance, providing strategic tax planning advice, and leading junior staff.

• Manage a varied portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients, ensuring timely and accurate compliance with all HMRC requirements.
• Oversee preparation and review of personal and corporation tax returns.
• Provide high-quality tax planning and advisory services to individuals and owner-managed businesses.
• Liaise with HMRC on client matters, including complex queries and investigations.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop junior members of the tax team.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and support business development initiatives.
• Collaborate with partners and other departments to deliver a seamless service to clients.

• CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
• Significant post-qualification experience within an accountancy practice environment.
• Strong technical knowledge across both personal and corporate tax.
• Proven experience managing a client portfolio and leading a small team.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

• Experience with in a mid-sized or larger practice.
• Commercial awareness with an interest in contributing to firm growth.
• Confident in advising clients directly and supporting strategic decision-making.
