Key responsibilitiesDeliver accurate, timely DB new business quotations as a key member of the Pricing team.
Lead and manage projects, proactively driving delivery in line with agreed timelines.
Build deep technical and operational knowledge of DB systems and tools, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and innovation.
Lead ad hoc initiatives including data analysis, proposition development, systems testing and process improvement.
Develop and apply technical skills, including coding, to enhance models, tools and processes.
Promote a collaborative, engaged team culture and support the coaching and development of junior team members.
Work closely with DB Reinsurance and Commercial teams to deliver competitive, market leading propositions and provide line management where required.
What we’re looking forStrong numeracy, analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent IT capability, including Excel and programming languages, with a willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
Sound knowledge of actuarial concepts, particularly those underpinning bulk annuity pricing.
Good understanding of the DB buy in and buy out market, life insurance and relevant regulation.
Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts simply.
Able to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.
Experience in pensions, insurance or financial services, with coding experience such as Python, Julia or VBA desirable.
