The Fixed Income Division (FID) is comprised of Interest Rate and Currency Products, Credit Products, Securitized Products, and Municipal Securities. Professionals in the Division assess and actively manage risk, trade securities, and structure as well as execute innovative transactions in the fast‑paced and constantly changing global markets. The Commodities Division is a market leader in energy, metals, and agricultural product trading worldwide whose professionals trade in both physical and derivative commodity risk.

The role focuses on designing and implementing electronic trading algorithms for government bonds and interest rate swaps. Responsibilities include developing statistical and machine learning models for RFQ pricing, auto-hedging, risk management, and alpha research, as well as building tools for performance tracking and effective monitoring of algorithms and models.

• Strong foundation in probability, statistics, and data analysis.
• Proficiency in Python; familiarity with Q/kdb and Java is a plus.
• Experience with RFQ auto-quoting models and algorithms is desirable; alternatively, experience in other areas of electronic trading will also be considered.
• Ability to translate trading ideas and business requirements into well-defined problems and deliver incremental solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders, including traders, sales, strats, IT, and risk management teams.
• Proven ability to collaborate closely with IT teams to coordinate delivery.
• Self‑motivated, rigorous, and tenacious, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Solid understanding of financial markets; knowledge of fixed income instruments, government bonds, and/or interest rate swaps.
• Advanced degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, physics, computer science, or engineering; relevant academic research experience is a plus.

This role is deemed as a Certified role and may require the role holder to hold mandatory regulatory qualifications or the minimum qualifications to meet internal company benchmarks.
