The Little Venice Film Festival invites applications from volunteers who wish to support the delivery of this year’s festival.

Volunteers play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the festival and in creating a welcoming, professional experience for audiences, filmmakers, and guests.

No previous festival experience is required. Full guidance and briefing will be provided.

Volunteer Roles
  • Front of House Support:
    Assisting with guest reception, ticket checks, and audience enquiries.
  • Screening Assistance:
    Supporting venue operations, audience seating, and transitions between screenings.
  • Guest and Filmmaker Support:
    Assisting with the coordination and care of filmmakers, speakers, and invited guests.
  • General Festival Operations:
    Providing on-the-ground support to ensure the festival runs efficiently across venues.
  • Social Media & Photography Support:
    Helping capture photos or short videos of festival events. Assisting the team with gathering content for the festival’s social media channels. Sharing the atmosphere of the festival by documenting audiences, venues, and events.
  • Be reliable, professional, and comfortable working with the public.
  • Be available for at least one scheduled volunteer shift.
  • Be aged 18 or over.
  • Gain practical experience in film festival and event operations.
  • Support independent filmmakers and cultural initiatives.
  • Engage with industry professionals, creatives, and audiences.
  • Develop transferable skills in hospitality, coordination, and customer service.
  • Attend selected festival screenings and events, subject to availability.
