Graduate Sportsbook Operations Specialist

Successful applicants will join a growing company responsible for delivering established pricing and risk management operations across various betting platforms and in a growing number of sports.

Responsibilities will include monitoring betting markets, pricing recommendations, bet flows and identifying abnormal activity. Also acting as the first point of contact for external clients and partners as well as internal support teams, particularly in the resolution of issues.

Opportunities will arise with experience in analysing and reporting on potential strategic actions, monitoring and refining aspects of company pricing and risk management strategies and driving improvements to operational procedures.

The role needs a confident approach to managing risk and making decisions with potentially significant financial implications.

The role requires a flexible approach to working hours as dictated by sporting schedules and will regularly include weekends and evenings.

The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate with strong mathematical and numerical aptitude.

A genuine interest in betting and betting markets is required. In addition, a strong interest and understanding in various sports, particularly football, cricket and US sports will be very beneficial.

The ability to approach tasks in a diligent and meticulous manner, concentrate for long periods and show efficient judgement under pressure is essential. Candidates will need to be able to communicate and operate effectively as part of a team while also being comfortable working independently.

• A 2:1 or higher in a numerate or analytical degree
• An A
  * or A in GCSE Maths
• A very strong and flexible work ethic
• A deep interest in betting markets and exchanges
• A good knowledge of multiple sports – in particular Football, Cricket and US Sports
