Description

We are currently looking for an Event Manager (Multi-Artform) to join our Arts Planning & Producing team on a full time permanent contract. No one day as an Event Manager is the same, and we're proud to work with some of the biggest names in the arts, from our renowned resident orchestras to producing the internationally acclaimed London Literature Festival and the longest running curator-led festival in the world, Meltdown Festival.

Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-End Event Coordination:
    Advancing, coordinating, delivering and reconciling allocated artistic events across various artforms to an international standard.
  • Logistics & Artist Liaison:
    Serving as the main point of contact for performance logistics, including managing travel, hotels, visas, FEU, riders, rehearsals and artist requirements.
  • Cross-Departmental Communication:
    Utilising venue management systems (specifically Artifax) to communicate operational needs, technical requirements, and event changes to internal departments.
  • Budgetary Management:
    Maintaining updated event budgets, monitoring expenditure, processing invoices, and performing full financial reconciliation post-event.
  • Safety & Compliance:
    Ensuring all planning and delivery meet statutory requirements, including conducting risk assessments and gathering necessary Health and Safety records from artists and promoters.
Skills & Experience
  • Multi-Artform

    Experience:

    Proven experience in event management across performing arts (e.g., Contemporary Music, Performance & Dance, Literature, or Festivals).
  • Stakeholder Management:
    Professional experience working effectively with artists, companies, partners, and promoters to deliver successful events.
  • Technical System Proficiency:
    Experience using venue management and ticketing systems, specifically Artifax and Tessitura (or similar platforms), alongside Microsoft and Google Suites.
  • High Calibre Artist Coordination:
    Experience working with international artists, including knowledge of visas, FEU, Permit Free Festivals, and Certificates of Sponsorship.
  • Operational Flexibility: A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to work irregular hours, including regular evenings and weekends (approximately three out of five).
