We’re looking for a Reservations Manager who understands that every booking is a chance to build a relationship, whether it’s a table for two, a birthday blowout, or a full private hire. You’ll sit at the centre of it all, driving bookings, shaping guest journeys, and making sure every experience starts strong. This is a hands‑on, commercial role for someone who knows how to balance warmth with precision and likes turning great service into repeat business.
Therole
- You’ll be the go‑to expert on our reservations policies, layouts, and menus, confidently managing Open Table and Collins, and keeping everything accurate, current, and intentional.
- You’ll handle enquiries with clarity and care, managing dietary needs, special requests, and personal touches that actually feel personal.
- Clear, seamless communication between guests, venues, and internal teams. No crossed wires. No last‑minute surprises.
- You’ll build long‑term guest relationships, spot opportunities to upsell and optimise covers, and make sure The Blues Kitchen is the first place people think of when they’re planning something special.
- From strategic booking management to performance tracking, you’ll keep a close eye on what’s working and push it further.
- You’ll partner closely with marketing, and venue ops to keep everything aligned and moving forward.
- Experience that counts
- At least 2 years working confidently with Open Table and Collins.
- Sales‑minded
- You know how to spot opportunities and convert interest into bookings.
- Guest‑obsessed
- You care about the full journey, from first enquiry to post‑visit follow‑up.
- Clear communicator
- You’re organized, proactive, and good at bringing people with you.
- Calm under pressure
- You can juggle detail, deadlines, and multiple stakeholders.
- Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
- Based at our Camden High Street office
- Weekly time spent in venues, staying close to the floor and the teams
