Monday to Friday, 09:30 – 17:30 (1-hour lunch break)

We are seeking a German & Japanese Speaking Translator to contribute to the localisation of a wide range of content, including video games, websites, mobile apps, and product packaging, ensuring accuracy, cultural relevance, and linguistic quality for German-speaking markets.

• Translate and proofread video game content and related media from Japanese into German
• Collaborate with editors, project coordinators, and localisation managers to ensure consistent high-quality translations
• Work on a variety of media formats and platforms, maintaining brand tone and style
• Manage glossaries and translation memories
• Ensure deadlines are met across multiple simultaneous projects

• Native-level German with fluency in Japanese and strong English communication skills
• Previous translation experience (video game industry experience preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and cultural nuance
• Experience with CAT tools, especially MemoQ, and ability to learn new software
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Creative, collaborative, and able to work under pressure in a team environment
• Experience with managing existing glossaries and localisation workflows
