Process Engineer

Job Description

• Review engineering drawing & specifications, design and execute engineering experiments, calculations and statistical control for new products & processes
• Delivering engineering activities to support and improve the company’s manufacturing & supply chain operations.
• Ensure manufacturing processes are capable of meeting and continue to meet quality, cost, delivery rate and lead time requirements to customers.
• Perform trouble shooting & analysis of production & process issues. Perform process redesign where required.
• Identify opportunities for new or improved processes to meet current or future requirements.
• Perform new equipment & materials validation using standards involving IQ, OQ & PQ methodology.
• Source new suppliers, qualify specifications & perform cost estimation to price out project expenses.

• General awareness of Manufacturing Systems e.g. CAD, CAM, CAPP, Manufacturing Execution System, ERP & Technical Publications.
• General experience with work flow Simulation software & Robotics applications e.g. Flexsim & UiPath.
• Experience with write-ups on work procedure workflow & instructions for production process.
• Experience with statistical process control & other quality/performance control tools.
• Ability to apply ISO
  13485, GDPMDS & other ISO standards to existing operations & into new businesses.
• LEAN/Six Sigma practitioner.
• Knowledge of ISO requirements.
• Knowledge on end-to-end processes from technical/material qualification, supplier audit, process qualification to manufacturing & supply chain logistics engineering.
• Resourceful, able to independently conduct research & apply new solution to business requirements.
• Proven Project management skills.
• Good presentation skills.
• Independent, self-motivated, process oriented & analytical.
