Project Manager, Operations Manager

The Client:

OXBO are delighted to be working with a leading UK based renewable energy IPP to add a Project Manager to their Construction team in London.

They have a significant pipeline of utility scale Solar PV and BESS projects currently in construction, with many more to commence shortly, so it is an exciting time to join the team.

The company are well-funded, with a lean team, that can quickly adapt to changes in market conditions, so are well placed to profit from the upcoming grid reforms in the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain high standards of construction management, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Co-ordinate the delivery of project services from across all internal teams.
• Foster close working relationships with external contractors, consultants and suppliers throughout the construction process.
• Proactively identify and solve problems as they arise, taking preventative measures to avoid risks to the project schedule and budget. Manage and report on deviations from project schedules, budgets, or scope.
• Promote a culture of safety, efficiency, and quality within the construction team.

Requirements:

• Experience managing Solar PV or BESS projects through the construction stages.
• Degree in Engineering/Project management/Construction or related discipline.
• Strong practical knowledge of Construction and Health & Safety standards and regulations in the UK.
• Evidence of successfully managing multiple projects to demanding deadlines.
• Valid driver's license for UK & Ireland.
