Project Civil Design Engineer

Civil Project Engineer | 4+ Years' Experience | Central London

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Civil Project Engineer to join a dynamic and award-winning engineering consultancy based in central London.

This role offers exposure to a broad range of commercial, residential, retail, and mixed-use projects, as well as strong support toward chartered status and ongoing career development.

The Role

This is a hands-on position where you will take ownership of key civil engineering elements across high-profile projects.

Responsibilities include:

Performing drainage calculations and flow modelling using Causeway Flow
Producing roads/S278 drawings and civil sketches using Civil 3D and AutoCAD
Leading design and site meetings and carrying out site inspections
Providing technical support including reports and presentations
Mentoring and guiding junior engineers
Collaborating with sub-consultants and specialist designers

Candidate Requirements

BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering or equivalent
4+ years' post-qualification experience in a consultancy environment
Proficiency in Causeway Flow, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong client focus and time management
Ability to work under pressure and liaise effectively with project teams
