We’re looking for a driven and commercially aware Geo-Environmental Engineer who thrives on solving complex ground and contamination issues. From brownfield regeneration to major infrastructure projects, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering solutions that make development possible — and responsible.

This isn’t just another consultancy role. It’s an opportunity to take ownership, influence project outcomes, and build your professional reputation in one of the UK’s most dynamic markets.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Designing and managing Phase I & Phase II Site Investigations

* Supervising ground investigations and mentoring junior staff

* Soil and groundwater sampling, logging, and data interpretation

* Preparing high-quality factual and interpretative reports

* Undertaking human health and controlled waters risk assessments

* Developing practical, cost-effective remediation strategies

* Liaising confidently with clients, regulators, and contractors

* Managing project programmes and budgets

You’ll have real responsibility — and real impact.

What We’re Looking For

* 3+ years’ UK consultancy experience in geo-environmental engineering

* Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or similar

* Strong understanding of UK contaminated land legislation

* Experience using risk assessment tools (e.g., CLEA)

* Clear, confident communication and report writing skills

* Full UK driving licence

Bonus points for:

* Working towards Chartership (CGeol, CEnv or similar)

* Broader geotechnical or slope stability experience

Why Join?

* Competitive salary of ÂŁ45,000

* Clear progression pathway and chartership support

* Hybrid working flexibility

* 25 days holiday + bank holidays

* Pension scheme

* Supportive team culture with real autonomy

* Opportunity to work on high-profile, technically challenging projects

If you’re ambitious, technically strong, and ready to take the next step in your geo-environmental career, we’d love to hear from you.
