Technical Sales Engineer - Must be Based in West London

Our client, a well‑established Global UK Manufacturer, is seeking a Permanent Technical Sales Consultant to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone who can combine strong technical understanding with effective sales ability.

As a key point of contact for customers, you will be responsible for understanding their storage and racking requirements, interpreting technical drawings, and providing tailored design‑led solutions that meet both operational needs and technical specifications. You will use your knowledge of racking systems to deliver accurate advice, ensure feasibility, and guide clients toward the most effective storage configuration.

Working closely with the internal design team, you will ensure that all client requirements are translated into precise and efficient technical layouts. Your focus will be to drive sales growth, develop strong client relationships, and deliver a high‑quality technical service from first enquiry through to solution delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and a strong foundation in technical sales within the racking or wider storage, material handling, or engineered solutions environment.

Key Requirements

* Proven B2B external sales experience, ideally within a technical or engineered product environment

* Proven experience in Technical Sales, ideally within Racking, Storage Solutions, Material Handling, construction or a related technical field

* Ability to interpret technical drawings, layouts and specifications to produce suitable solutions for clients

* Confident in providing technical advice and developing bespoke design solutions based on client needs

* Self‑motivated, proactive approach to sales, business development and customer management

* Full UK driving licence essential for client visits
