SENIOR BIM MODELLER Job Description

• Lead the development, updating, and management of discipline-specific BIM models and shop drawings for client submissions and construction use.
• Review and validate BIM models and drawings prepared by junior modellers to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
• Maintain model integrity in accordance with the latest design, site, and consultant updates through regular audits and quality checks.
• Produce complex 2D drawings, detailed construction documentation, and as-built BIM models in line with company standards.
• Ensure all BIM deliverables comply with relevant codes, standards, BIM Execution Plans (BEP), and project specifications.
• Support BIM coordination activities, including model federation, clash detection, and issue resolution with consultants and subcontractors.
• Liaise closely with site teams, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve technical and constructability issues.
• Assist the BIM Coordinator / Manager in developing BIM workflows, standards, and modelling guidelines.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior BIM modellers.
• Monitor modelling progress against the project programme and flag potential risks or delays.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the BIM Coordinator / Manager.

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, BIM, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant BIM modelling experience in contractor, consultancy, or BIM service environments.
• Strong hands‑on experience delivering BIM for medium to large‑scale building or infrastructure projects

• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Architecture, MEP and/or Structure).
• Familiarity with Navisworks or other BIM coordination tools is an advantage.
• Good understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and shop drawing production.
• Ability to review technical drawings and identify discrepancies, clashes, and coordination issues.
• Strong communication and coordination skills, with experience working across multi-disciplinary teams.
