MEP Technical (Mechanical) Manager

This role supports our MEP Unbundled strategy, reducing our reliance on external market supply to ensure better quality, safety, and control over project timelines. The Manager will provide overall design & engineering leadership/management for the business region(s), with responsibility for the delivery of design information. MEP project values typically range from £5M - £130M, covering prequalification to completion with emphasis on work winning and preconstruction.

Responsibilities include building and leading effective relationships with MEP designers & BIM Coordinators to maximise value/opportunity and mitigate risk.

Projects are based in London and the Southeast (including Jersey) and cover various sectors:
Healthcare, Residential Regeneration, Schools, and Data Centres.

• Substantial experience collaborating with a main contractor or large subcontractor
• Degrees in Mechanical subject are preferable but we’d also consider people qualified by experience
• Proven in‑depth technical knowledge of Mechanical MEP Services
• Proven people management (including mentoring) experience of managing/developing teams
• An effective analytical person
• Initiative‑taking, with proven organisational ability and the drive to meet deadlines
• Client‑driven with effective communication skills
• Advocate for Health and Safety
• Commercially astute

• Member of the MEP Unbundled Strategy Core Team involved and contributing to strategic planning, business decisions, and overall performance of the business region
• Ownership of key customer/consultant relationships, ensuring where possible mutually positive outcomes
