Together, we can achieve more — come be a part of it. About the JobWe are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support day‑to‑day maintenance of rotating and static equipment. This role ensures plant reliability, safe execution of field activities, and compliance with HSSE requirements while supporting engineers and contractors in delivering maintenance goals.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out maintenance, repair, and servicing of rotating and static equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, pipelines, valves, vessels, tanks, hydraulic systems, and lifting equipment.
- Supervise contractors during field activities (e.g. lifting, welding, alignment, flange tightening) to ensure safe and quality work.
- Support engineers in troubleshooting bad actor equipment and updating repair status in GSAP.
- Maintain accurate equipment records, technical drawings, and documentation.
- Use GSAP to manage work requests, preventive/corrective maintenance, and job histories.
- Ensure compliance with site HSSE standards, participate in risk assessments, and perform duties as Permit Applicant and Permit Verifier.
- Guide and mentor mechanical personnel and contractors to meet maintenance targets (HSSE, KPIs, budgets, schedules).
- Collaborate with multi-discipline teams, stakeholders, and vendors to resolve issues and improve reliability.
- Drive personal accountability and continuous improvement in maintenance performance.
- Minimum NITEC certification or equivalent in Mechanical or related discipline.
- 3–5 years’ relevant experience in construction or maintenance within oil & gas, chemical, or petrochemical industries.
- Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures.
- Familiarity with SAP (GSAP) Maintenance Module preferred.
- Strong fieldwork experience with contractors and stakeholder engagement.
- Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Self‑motivated team player, able to work independently when required.
