Senior C&S Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Lead or carry out Foundation/ERSS, Substructure and Superstructure Analysis and Design
• Review and/or produce/compile Detailed Calculations Report
• Prepare presentation slides’ technical/Design input
• Lead liaison with Accredited Checker (AC) and relevant Authority on submission matters
• Coordinate with Client, Consultant and Contractor on design, construction and submission aspects of projects
• Attend technical / site meetings to resolve design issues and site problems
• To monitor the project team in the preparation of drawings, reports, technical documentation, tenders and contract administration
• To liaise with the Client and assist QP/Associate Director in identifying the needs and technical requirements of the Client
• To ensure Design and Drawings conformance to Authorities and Codes of Practice requirements
• To prepare work (Design and Drawings) schedules and ensure conformance of such schedule. To monitor and ensure that submission schedules to Authorities are met
• Support Tender bid related to C&S Design
• Lead as-built submission preparation matters
• Other duties arranged by Senior/Supervisor

• Min. Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
• Min. 5 years of Design experience
• Well verse in local practice, i.e. Code of Practice, Standards and local authority submission
• Knowledge & experience in composite structure, precast concrete and other innovative/advance Design/construction technology an advantage
• Well verse in structural Design Software, e.g. ETABS, SAFE, SAP 2000, STAAD Pro, TSD, MIDAS, PLAXIS, etc
• Knowledge in Drafting/BIM Software, e.g. AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Autodesk REVIT, Navisworks, etc
• Good report writing, communication and presentation skills
