Title: Global Procurement Director – Capex, MRO & R&D

Location: Slough, UK (Hybrid, 2–3 days office)

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Director to lead global procurement strategy across Capex, MRO, and R&D. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for a £440m global spend
, covering manufacturing sites in Europe, the UK, USA, and upcoming LATAM projects.

• Define and execute global procurement strategy for Capex, MRO, and R&D.
• Lead and coach a team of procurement professionals (7 direct reports, growing to 10).
• Partner with global engineering and R&D teams to deliver projects and ensure alignment with manufacturing operations.
• Drive supplier selection, negotiations, and framework agreements with a focus on equipment quality and compliance.
• Monitor market trends, manage risk, and ensure supply chain continuity.

• 10+ years’ procurement experience, within FMCG, pharma, or health/nutrition sectors.
• Proven track record in Capex/MRO category management and R&D procurement a bonus
• Strong leadership and coaching skills, with experience managing large teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management across engineering, manufacturing, and R&D.
• Fluent English, with exposure to multicultural environments.

• 30% bonus
