Lead Infrastructure Engineer - Infrastructure Service

We are seeking a skilled IaaS Engineer to join our dynamic team, focusing on Red Hat Open Shift and Kubernets .The ideal candidate will design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud-based infrastructure solutions.

As a Lead Infrastructure Engineer at JPMorgan Chase in the Infrastructure Platforms/Compute Infrastructure Platforms, you leverage your extensive expertise in infrastructure, focusing on compute, storage, and networking. You apply technical processes within the infrastructure engineering discipline and continuously expand your technical and cross-functional knowledge beyond your primary domain of expertise.

• Apply technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to projects of moderate scope.
• Drive work streams or projects involving one or more infrastructure engineering technologies.
• Collaborate with other platforms to architect and implement changes needed to resolve issues and modernize technology processes.
• Execute creative solutions for design, development, and technical troubleshooting within JPMC's private cloud offering.
• Strongly consider upstream and downstream data, systems, or technical implications, and advise on mitigation actions.
• Contribute to a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.
• Design and implement infrastructure solutions using Open Shift and VMware's VCF.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of virtual environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for application deployment.
• Troubleshoot system performance and other issues

• Formal training or certification in Infrastructure engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience specifically around virtualization
• Deep knowledge of one or more areas of infrastructure engineering such as hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, or performance assessments
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Red Hat Open Shift.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Basic working knowledge of Infrastructure technology and scripting languages (e.g., Scripting, Python, etc.)
• Drives to continue to develop technical and cross-functional knowledge outside of the product

• Good knowledge and experience in Containers(K8), Storage and Compute
