You’ll work alongside leaders like Ben, Abs, Sabrina, and Rebe.

We’re looking for an exceptional, product‑minded Team Leader – Staff Software Engineer (L4) to join our engineering team and help scale Omnea through its next phase of growth. Over the next year, our team will double in size, our enterprise customer base will grow from ~100 to 200+, and revenue will triple. This is a Staff‑level role with domain‑level impact
, combining senior technical leadership with people leadership responsibilities. You’ll own delivery for a team, coach and develop engineers, and shape architecture and product outcomes across a broader domain, while remaining hands‑on where it matters most.

You’ll be joining us at a pivotal time. We’ve just raised $50 M in Series B funding from Khosla Ventures, Insight Partners, Accel, Point Nine, and First Round Capital. In the past year we’ve grown revenue 5x, tripled our customer base, and maintained >99% retention with enterprises like Spotify, Wise, Albertsons, Adecco, and McAfee. Our team is small but high‑calibre – it took over 10,000 interviews to hire our first 50 Omneans.

Now we’re scaling fast and building the category of AI Supplier Relationship Management. We’re looking for Staff‑level engineers who can lead teams or initiatives while operating beyond a single team, shaping technical direction across domains and helping turn procurement into a true competitive advantage.

You should be prepared to undertake our pair‑programming stage of the interview process in JavaScript or Type Script and be assessed on that basis as if it has been your main language. This is a hands‑on leadership role — we expect Team Leader – Staff engineers to lead by example through code, technical decision‑making, and delivery ownership. We’re hiring for full‑stack engineers so if you’re only really a frontend or a backend engineer, are mostly a devops/platform person, or have mostly been using a very different language (eg Java) this likely isn’t a fit for you.

We care more about skills than years of experience, but for calibration, we’d typically expect candidates at this level to have 8–10+ years of software engineering experience, including meaningful experience leading teams or complex technical initiatives.
