We are seeking two Estimators to join our London office:
- 1 x Electrical Estimator
- 1 x Mechanical Estimator
Ideally, both candidates will have the capability to price across both disciplines, with any CSA (Civil, Structural & Architectural) experience considered a strong advantage. Previous Data Centre tendering experience is preferred but not essential.
Role SummaryYou will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for major M&E packages on complex projects ranging from €50m to €300m in total value. Projects will typically include Mechanical, Electrical, CSA, BMS, ICT, Security, and Fire Alarm systems.
This is an excellent opportunity for intermediate-level estimators looking to develop within a high-performing tendering environment delivering technically complex schemes.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare detailed cost plans and tender submissions for M&E packages
- Carry out take-offs and measurement from drawings and models
- Review and interpret specifications, drawings, and employer requirements
- Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations against technical specifications
- Use model-based software such as Navisworks and CAD platforms for measurement and coordination
- Support value engineering exercises during the tender stage
- Liaise with supply chain partners to obtain competitive and compliant pricing
- Assist in risk analysis and commercial review of tender returns
- Contribute to tender presentations and handover to delivery team
- Tender values from €50m - €300m overall project value
- Packages comprising Mechanical, Electrical, CSA, BMS, ICT, Security, Fire Alarm and associated infrastructure
- Complex commercial, mission-critical, or technically demanding environments
- Experience in M&E estimating (Electrical or Mechanical bias)
- Ability to complete accurate take-offs and quantify works
- Experience reviewing and levelling subcontract quotations
- Competent using Navisworks, CAD, or similar model-based software
- Strong understanding of specifications and technical documentation
- Exposure to Data Centre projects advantageous but not essential
- Surveying capability beneficial but not mandatory
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Comfortable working to tight tender deadlines
- Cross-discipline estimating capability (Mech & Elec)
- CSA exposure
- Knowledge of BMS, ICT, Security, and Fire Alarm systems
- Experience in large-scale mission-critical or infrastructure projects
This role would suit a driven intermediate estimator looking to step into large-scale, technically complex tenders within a structured and growing London-based team.
