Mechanical Supervisor

We are looking for a Mechanical Supervisor to join the team of an established company in the London (Tooting) area. This role is offering a temporary, static position and the opportunity to gain experience within a reputable and recognised facilities management company.

Monday to Friday / 40 hours

• Managing and supervising a team of 5 mechanical engineers
• Ensuring all PPM works are completed to schedule
• Assisting engineers with planned and reactive maintenance
• Overseeing the health & safety of engineers on site
• Carrying out and supporting fault finding and troubleshooting
• Responsible for reactive and breakdown repairs
• Overseeing maintenance of heavy plant, chillers and steam systems
• Liaising with site management and ensuring compliance standards are met

• BOAS qualification (ideal but not essential)
• NVQ Level 3 minimum in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Proven experience managing or supervising engineering teams
• Strong mechanical background within FM / commercial environments
• Experience with heavy plant, chillers, and steam
• Good understanding of health & safety procedures
• Experience assisting with and managing PPM works
