Embedded System Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team. You will be the bridge between hardware and software, architecting the custom computing devices that power modern hospital operating rooms.

From board bring-up and driver development to ensuring medical-grade security, you will play a pivotal role in the full productization of our next-generation medical devices.

• Architect & Develop: Design and debug system services and hardware-dependent applications for custom medical devices.
• Linux Mastery: Build and maintain compatible kernels and drivers (V4L2, I2C, SPI, UART) in collaboration with the hardware team.
• Bring-up & Integration: Drive system bring-up and hardware integration using custom Linux build systems like Yocto or Buildroot.
• Security & Compliance: Develop "secure-by-design" software, participating in formal risk analysis and regulatory compliance for medical-grade systems.

  Lead code reviews and contribute to software infrastructure for seamless deployments.

• Education: BS/MS in Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience (or 5+ years with an advanced degree).
• Technical Deep Dive: Extensive experience with Linux device drivers, kernel tinkering, and device trees.

  Expert knowledge of C/C++ and shell scripting.
• Security: Strong understanding of hardware root of trust and cryptographic key management.
• Hardware Savvy: Ability to follow schematics and technical datasheets.

• Experience with Nvidia computing platforms.
• Background in video processing/streaming (camera sensors, codecs)
• Experience with AWS and remote device management.
• Prior work in safety-critical applications (Medical, Aerospace, etc.)
