Opportunity to join a successful consulting engineering services company who work with both private and public sector clients. Their experience spans a diverse range of projects including multi-disciplinary design schemes up to multi-million pounds in value.

They are seeking a structural engineer at Associate or Associate Director level, who will report to the Directors providing technical leadership and taking responsibility for the success of the team. Leading by example will be your motto and you should encourage strong team spirit whilst motivating and mentoring.

Responsibilities (not limited to):

• Make considered design decisions will full autonomy and act on own initiative
• Manage portfolio of projects, ensuring successful delivery
• Control project resources keeping within budget and managing fee variations
• Prepare details appraisals and reports for projects and review/audit reports
• Develop strong relationships with clients and associated teams
• Leading bid proposals and submissions and develop new business opportunities

About you:

• Chartered engineer with extensive experience at similar level
• Able to develop engineering design concepts including planning, architectural, engineering, and other required systems
• Coordinate resolution of design and development matters
• Oversee preparation of detailed analysis and design, drawings and details as well as specific technical documents throughout all stages of a project
