Shift Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Overview

Are you an experienced building services maintenance engineer who has strong Mechanical Maintenance Engineer competencies? We are looking to speak with you. I am working with an industry leading FM service provider who are actively hiring for a mechanical maintenance engineer for one of their flagship buildings in London.

• Up to GBP
  50,000 Per Annum
• 6 Days on and off (Days and Nights)
• 25 days holiday entitlement + 8 days bank holidays

• Planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance of on-site mechanical plant and plumbing systems
• AHUs: fault finding and strip downs
• FCUs: fault finding and strip downs
• Pumps:
  Bearings, Mechanical Seals and fault finding
• Maintenance/routine checks on sprinkler, fire alarm and emergency lighting systems
• Water Treatment (Tap Tests, Dosing, Cooling Tower Checks, etc.)
• Chilled and hot Water Systems
• Plumbing maintenance
• Generators: visual inspections and fault finding
• Pressurisation units
• Calorifiers
• Heat exchangers
• Replacing copper/lead pipes
• BMS Operation

• Mechanically qualified to City and Guilds Level 3 or NVQ (or equivalent)
• Min 2 years building services maintenance experience in commercial office environments
• Physically fit: able to navigate a high-rise building
• Client facing: able to work closely with the facility manager for the end client.
