Joselyn Search are currently recruiting for a Hands‑on Supervisor / Lead Maintenance engineer to be based at a large commercial estate in Canary Wharf. The successful candidate will be responsible for multiple buildings and a team of 6 engineers across the estate and to oversee & carry out all aspects of multi‑skilled maintenance as well as taking a lead on other members of the engineering team and sub‑contractors.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and Ideally be from an Electrical engineering background and have a good understanding of both High & Low Voltage.

This position would be ideal for a supervisor orLead Engineer currently in a similar position who is keen on progression . In return the company are offering a competitive salary in the region of £55,000 with a potential route into further career progression and management.

• Take the lead on site engineering team
• Carry out regular inspections of building systems
• Arrange specialist sub‑contractors
• Ensure compliance with building & safety regulations
• Plan and manage projects
• Upgrades and Installations
• Write & execute LV and HV switching operations
• Carry out building shutdowns
• Management of all site logbooks
• Ensure all paperwork is up to date and ready for audits
• Offer technical support across the contract
• Attend client meetings
• General Lighting
• Changing Ballasts
• Emergency Light Tests
• Small installations & Fault-finding
